K'gari Walking Tours Instagram Giveaway - Terms and Conditions

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram.

  1. Eligibility:
    • Participants must be 18 years or older to enter.
    • The giveaway is open to Australian residents.
    • Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of K'gari Walking Tours/ Fraser Dingo 4WD Adventures and Zorali are not eligible to participate.
  2. Entry Requirements:
    • Participants must follow @kgari_walking and @zorali on Instagram.
    • Participants must like the giveaway post and comment an emoji they associate with hiking!
    • Participants can also sign up to the K’gari Walking Tours mailing list for an additional entry
  3. Giveaway Period:
    • The giveaway begins on 01/03/2024 and ends on 17/03/2024.
    • Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
  4. Prize Details:
    • ​​The prize includes: ​
      • ​A 3 day pack-free walking tour, provided by K'gari Walking Tours, for two persons ($1800). Winners can choose either the Rainforest Eco Hike or Blue Lakes Eco Hike. 
      • A Zorali Hiking Adventure Pack (Valued at $700, includes 2x Escapade Backpacks with water bottles, 2 x Hemp Explorer Hat, 2 x Trail Blazer Sandals).
    • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative.
    • K’gari Walking Tours is not responsible for the cost of travel to/ from the tour departure point. Competition winners must organise and pay for their own travel arrangements.
    • Competition winners are subject to the same hiking terms and conditions, including the minimum numbers required for running the hikes.
    • The winner must use the giveaway prize within the 2024 hiking season. 
    • To claim the Zorali Hiking Adventure Pack of equiptment winners must redeem their K’gari Walking Tours experience, the Zorali prize will not be sent out to winners and winners must redeem their hiking experience and/or pick up the Zorali prize in person.
  5. Winner Selection:
    • The winner will be chosen randomly from eligible entries.
    • The winner will be announced on 23/03/2024 via Instagram and will be contacted through direct message.
    • If the winner does not respond within 7 days, a new winner will be selected.
  6. Publicity Release:
    • By entering, participants grant K'gari Walking Tours permission to use their Instagram username and any submitted content for promotional purposes.
    • By entering, participants agree to sign up their email address to the K’gari Walking Tours mailing list (can unsubscribe at any time).
    • By entering, participants agree to share photos and testimonials from the tour.
  7. Privacy Policy:
    • Information collected for the giveaway will be used solely for the purpose of administering the promotion and internal marketing, and will not be shared with third parties.
  8. Liability:
    • K'gari Walking Tours is not responsible for any lost, late, or misdirected entries, or for any technical malfunctions that may occur.
    • Participants acknowledge that the hiking experience involves inherent risks, and K'gari Walking Tours is not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the tour.
  9. Modification or Termination:
    • K'gari Walking Tours reserves the right to modify or terminate the giveaway at any time, for any reason.
  10. Governing Law:
    • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
